BEWARE OF THE ENEMY - JOHN 10:10

✨ Satan is our real enemy. When we sin, we open a door for him in our lives. He comes to kill, steal, destroy, steal our joy, peace, freedom, finances, Jobs etc. Jesus comes that we may have life, and have it to the full. Choose Jesus today. He will help you overcome temptations as no temptation has seized you except was is common to man. Everything belongs to God; He restores what the enemy had stolen from you if you stand in faith & pray for others. He removes shame. Allow God to restore you today, He will; • Remove shame & restore your wealth and prosperity (Joel 2:25-27). • He will refresh your soul, mind, will & emotion (Psalms 23:3). • Restore good health & heal your wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). • Set the oppressed free and break every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). • Create in you a pure heart and renew a right spirit within you (Psalms 51:10). • Restore the joy of salvation (Psalms 51:12-15). 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐍 (𝟐 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝟒:𝟏𝟔-𝟏𝟖)

As Christians, the first place we ought to grow & prosper is our spiritual life. You are not supposed to neglect the inner man. Here are a few signs that show you have neglected the inner man: - 1. Not reading the Bible – The word of God is the food for our spirit (Mathew 4:4) 2. Inconsistent Worship – Adore God for who He is & not because of your condition or circumstance (Habakkuk 3:17-18). 3. Lack of Fellowship – Do not neglect going to church because doubt flourishes in loneliness (Hebrews 10:25). 4. Failing to Repent – For all have sinned (Romans 3:23), repentance frees us from the bondage of sin. 5. Prayerlessness – Check your prayer life. Jesus is our example He prayed always. 6. Self-Righteousness – Claiming to be good 7. Not participating in any church Ministry (Matthew 9:37) 8. Quenching the Holy spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19) All these lead to the slow death of our inner man. …………………………………………………………………………………………… 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐍 1. Allow God to awaken your sleepy spirit. 2. Release all bitter roots of judgement & forgive all offences 3. Allow the Holy Spirit to help you have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) 4. Develop a culture of understanding the word. 5. Rise from discouragement & develop honesty, obedience, watchfulness, prayer etc. 6. Be strengthened through the Holy Spirit • Speak in tongues (1 Corinthians 14:4) • Handle problems the godly way (2 Corinthians 12:9) • Have a godly character (Galatians 5:17) 7. Pray always

𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝐆𝐎𝐃

God is Omnipotent – all-powerful, therefore cannot be limited by time, place, or person. As his children, we should not limit God. In Romans 4:18-19, Abraham in hope believed and he became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him. Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. That however did not change his hope in God. Israel sinned against God the Holy one & sinned against Him. They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy. (Psalms 78:1-58) We today also limit God in so many ways. 1. Disobedience – Falling to obey the word of God limits our blessing (John 15:7-10). 2. Our Forgetfulness – God has done so many miracles in our lives. Often times we forget hence limiting God’s power in our lives (John 15:11-17). 3. Unbelief – God wants us to believe & trust Him. Failing to do that limits Him (Psalms 78:22). 4. Worldliness - The love of this world and its things is contrary to God’s desire for His children. Sin destroys our relationship with God. Our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). 5. Insincerity – We limit God's blessing in us when our hearts are not sincere e.g., Worshiping God with the mouth and not the heart (Psalms 78:36-37). 6. Ingratitude – God is not happy when we forget what He has done for us (Psalms 78:42). 7. Idolatry – We provoke God when we make graven images & worship idols (Psalms 78:58) The truth is that we limit God's blessing upon us by what we do. Consider your life and the things you think are limiting God's power in your life. Because the greatest hindrance to our spiritual growth is ourselves. God is ready to do great things for His people only if we let him.

Painful and difficult as troubles, trials and tribulations may be, they are sure to come to all men; it only makes sense to view them as God intended. We know for example that the trials of Job had nothing to do with Job as a person but a spiritual battle beyond Jobs knowledge James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers’ temptations (trials) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” The Bible gives many different reasons why hard times come into our life. 1. Through trials we learn many lessons because spiritual knowledge is also learnt by experience and not meant to destroy us. 1Corinthians 10:13 2. Hard sometimes are meant to strengthen us. Luke 22:31-32 3. Other times our trials build our faith when we see what God has done. Psalms 124:1-3 A closer walk with the Lord promises us victory over hard situations Mathew 6:13 “And lead us not into temptations” also see verses 25 and 33 Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. May the Lord strengthen you in Jesus’ name!

One prophet said “I worked for the depth of my relationship with God and God worked for the width of my relationship with Him It is not all up to you and certainly it is not all up to God 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 – John 14:21&23 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” Isaiah 57:15 For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘄? Mat. 16:24–26 “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 Hebrews 5:11-13 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. If you obey these Words of Jesus in your life, Jesus will become a beloved friend and you will have fellowship with Him on a daily basis. This relationship with Jesus is in your heart, mind, and spirit. He becomes the center of your affection, and sits on the throne of your heart.

PRAYER IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE

✨ Prayer is the greatest weapon we have for spiritual warfare. Without prayer, we cannot wage spiritual warfare. The role of prayer is central and indispensable. Prayer is priceless to the one who engages in spiritual warfare. If one looks at the life of Jesus, there is no doubt that his success in ministry and spiritual warfare was linked to his prayer life and his practices of other spiritual disciplines - Hebrews 7:25 Paul tells Christians to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing, The best way to apply that passage is to have a disciplined scheduled daily prayer time over which one should then have spontaneous all-day prayers. When one reads the letters of Paul, one cannot miss the centrality of prayer in both the Christian life and spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:10-20 “According to Paul talking about spiritual warfare in Ephesians 6, prayer is the 7th piece of armor. It activates all of the rest of the spiritual armor. When we refuse to pray, it’s like having a refrigerator without plugging it in. Prayer is the divinely authorized mechanism God has given us to tap into His power. Without prayer, we’ll be ineffective in spiritual warfare. But with it, we will be victorious.” In 2 Kings 6:17, we see a simple but powerful prayer that the prophet Elisha prayed. He said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” Every spiritual warrior ought to pray this prayer for themselves. It is only when our spiritual vision is good that we can see the strategy of the devil unfolding in front of our eyes and we can see and have faith in God’s full armor discussed in Ephesians 6 2 Corinthians 10:2-5 that Christians are to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ, how do they do that except through dependent prayer and the power of God? James 4:7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Where do Christians actually get the strength to do all that except through prayer? Prayer is everything. .
